Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Anthony Belton at slot 128 is 132 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
Landing Henderson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 31 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare, reach and all. The biggest hole, addressed.
Taking Nick Emmanwori in Round 2, Pick 31 is close to grand larceny; a safety that good had no business lasting this long. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Circle this one: Harold Fannin Jr. at the 65th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Anthony Belton in pick 128 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A need, and now a little less of one.
