The rest of the league had time to spare on Julius Welschof; the Texans did not wait, grabbing him 82 spots ahead at the 247th overall pick.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Landing Watson that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
