Some picks age like wine; DeMonte Capehart at the 230th pick will need to, sitting 35 spots clear of his grade. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
