The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Vikings spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

The cost of the Briggs reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

The Bullock pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
