You could see the war room lean forward. Harold Fannin Jr. at the 128th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The West reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 31 they get a ballhawk on the back end, outstanding value to boot.
Jalon Walker in No. 63 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A minor need, but a need all the same.
They barely believed it either: TreVeyon Henderson still on the board at the 95th pick. A need, and now a little less of one.
Harold Fannin Jr. in slot 128 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
