The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to Shedeur Sanders, and the whole operation now runs on his development.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The cost of the Sanders reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
