If confidence were a draft strategy, the Raiders would have aced it. Jaxson Dart at Round 3, Pick 4 is 73 spots clear of where he belonged. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
Campbell at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 6th pick they get a bell-cow for the offense at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
A big swing on Jaxson Dart at No. 68, well ahead of any board in the building. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Tyler Booker in the 73rd overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They barely believed it either: Jihaad Campbell still on the board at Round 4, Pick 6. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
