You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
The McConkey pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
