The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Cardinals spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.
That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The cost of the McCarthy reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
