They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Raiders' quarterback, full stop. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.
The Cowing value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 2 they get the arm they will build around at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
No drama and no debate, Joe Alt went about where he belonged in pick No. 5. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

Somehow Jacob Cowing was still sitting there in the 150th pick, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Jaylen Wright in Round 6, Pick 15 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A need, and now a little less of one.
Javon Baker at the Round 7 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
