The tape said wait; the Texans did not. Leonard Taylor III went at slot 85, a good 27 picks before the board was ready. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
The Robinson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
