The search is over. The Vikings handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development.
The Jackson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The cost of the Magee reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 12 they get a passer to set the clock by at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
T.J. Tampa at the 44th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
No drama and no debate, Howard Cross III went about where he belonged in No. 112. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
