Draft Profile: Bio
Malachi Singleton from North Cobb High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Singleton opted to join Arkansas.

In 2024 as a freshman Singleton saw action in just 2 games for the Razorbacks as he threw for just 120 yards on 11 attempts with a completion percent of 72.7 for an average of 10.9 yards per pass, with no TDs, while taking one sack, and an excellent QB rating of 108.1.
Scouting Report: Strengths
  • Singleton plays with a confident demeanor and has the athleticism to move out of the pocket and create plays out of structure.
  • He’s good enough as a runner to work read-option plays, keeping back-side defenders in place.
  • Good (not elite) arm strength and can easily make all the NFL throws with effortless deep passes.
  • Singleton moves effectively and can throw on the run. He’s at his best on bootlegs, showing zip and accuracy on those throws.
  • Built like a linebacker, Singleton has the natural balance and light feet to float in the pocket while scanning the field and also the speed to pick up chunks of yardage when scrambling.
  • Dual-threat quarterback with athletic footwork and mobility. Instinctive runner with very good toughness - uses stiff arms and runs with good body strength.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
  • His mechanics are hit-or-miss as Singleton struggles to remain consistent. His stride is inconsistent, leading to sporadic accuracy.
  • Needs to improve his touch at all levels and know when to gun it and when to take something off his throws. Accuracy is solid, but far from great with streaky ball placement downfield as he tries to thread the needle too much.
  • Inconsistent mechanics are an issue, though a correctable one.

*Percentile Ranking in Player's Position Group (NFL Combine Historical Data): This percentile reflects how a player's specific statistics rank in comparison to historical performances at the NFL Combine, specifically within their position group. A higher percentile indicates a better performance. For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
