Scouting Report: Strengths
- Awareness is above-average for his limited experience. Sells trap block and can turn to seal. Fluid getting to and adjust at the second level.
- Quick setting up after the snap and slides well to the outside, staying patient and balanced off the snap.
- Anchors against larger defenders in the middle; resets hands to maintain distance. Athletic enough to help on nose tackle then pick up twist or late blitzer. Mirrors quick interior rushers. Looks to help the center when uncovered.
- Displays good awareness when it comes to reading moving bodies, effectively reacting and adjusting. Ojukwu also shows a good feel for combo blocks.
- A smooth mover and covers a lot of ground, working hard to mirror rushers; agile and keeps his feet moving.
- Ojukwu flashes power and nastiness in the run game, able to win at the point of attack and athletic enough to get out as a pulling blocker before landing blocks on the move at the second level.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Heavy-footed with an inconsistent kick slide. He’s going to have an awful time with speed rushers if asked to block on an island; he’s likely going to need help on the edge regardless.
- A short-area blocker with limited range and doesn't consistently get to the second level. Will play undisciplined at times, especially in space. Lacks a finishing attitude.
- While Ojukwu probably fits best as a right tackle, he has an outside chance at surviving on the left side for a team with a power-running attack.
