2024 NFL Draft Prospects- Mock Draft Predictions and Potential Landing Spots for Top Players
Now that the 2024 NFL draft is just two months away, it's time to start zeroing in on potential destinations for top prospects.
With over 6 million viewers in 2023, the NFL Draft attracts significant interest from the online betting industry as well as sports fans.
In a class loaded with potential franchise-changing NFL draft prospects, particularly at Quarterback and Wide Receiver, teams picking in the top 10 are going to have even more added pressure with so many potential superstars up for grabs.
Today, we’ll be predicting some potential landing spots for 2024 NFL draft prospects by position.
Quarterback
Caleb Williams is the undisputed #1
No matter if the Bears decide to stick with Justin Fields and trade the 1st overall pick for a king's ransom, or if they hand the keys to the Windy City to a new star QB, Caleb WIlliams is by all accounts going to be the first name called on draft night.
Despite USC’s disappointing season as a team, WIlliams continued to show off his tantalizing potential as an elite dual-threat QB. With improvisation ability reminiscent of Patrick Mahomes and a cannon of an arm, the former Heisman winner is all but a lock at #1.
Maye or Daniels?
Here’s where things get a bit more interesting. UNC’s Drake Maye seemed to have the #2 QB position in this draft secured last fall, but a monster season from LSU transfer Jayden Daniels has many people rethinking that notion.
A tall scrambler with elite speed and pinpoint accuracy, Daniels' college numbers speak for themselves. But Maye is certainly no slouch either and is by most accounts the better all-around thrower of the two. At the end of the day, who goes first will be decided by team preference, but we’ll give Maye the slight nod mostly the Commanders have the Tar Heel QB connection with Sam Howell.
Wide Receiver
Harrison Jr. will lead the top 10 WR trio
2024 is set to be one of the best drafts for top-end receivers in recent memory, and three names lead the way: Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr., LSU’s Malik Nabers, and Washington's Rome Odunze.
But, despite the supreme all-around talent that Nabers and Odunze would bring to any receiver room, we think that Harrison Jr will most likely be the first WR off the board, and not just because of his Hall of Fame father. With a terrifying combination of size, speed, and hands, Harrison Jr. is being discussed by many as the best wide receiver prospect since Calvin Johnson, and we don’t see him falling past the Cardinals at #4, while Nabers and Odunze are left for other receiver-hungry teams like the Giants and Bears.

Joe Alt is the first O-Lineman Taken
A 2x All-American at Notre Dame, it’s hard to beat Joe Alt when it comes to offensive linemen in this class. Projected to be an immediate plug-and-play starting tackle, Alt will likely be taken by the Titans or Giants.
Brock Bowers goes Top Ten
The hit rate on 1st round tight ends has been hit-or-miss in recent years, but Georgia's Brock Bowers might be the most intriguing 2024 NFL Draft Prospect. A freak athlete with a national championship pedigree, Bowers might be small for a tight end, but he has the big play threat that has earned many comparisons to 49ers All-Pro George Kittle. We wouldn’t be surprised to see any of the teams 5-10 take a swing at him.
