When you see Chazz Surratt flying around the field as one of the most athletic linebacker prospects in the draft it is hard to imagine not so long ago he was playing as a quarterback. After failing to win the starting QB job for the Tar Heels he switched to linebacker and his first full season was extremely impressive, notching up 115 total tackles, 6.5 sacks and an interception, leading the team in several areas. He plays with speed and is extremely athletic and his background as a QB gives him a great understanding of the offense and what they are likely to do in any given situation. Needs to get stronger in order to be effective against the run but if he does that without losing too much of his speed then he could be a fantastic addition to any linebacker corps. His younger brother, Sage, also looks set to be a high draft pick in the 2021 draft, playing WR for Wake Forest.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
