Eagles vs Chiefs - Best Prop Bets to Aim At

The Super Bowl week is well and truly underway, and you can really feel the frenzy among the fans.

The best part about the Super Bowl is that it gets the neutrals fired up, too. For real NFL fans, the only news in the past few days was about the football event. While the Luke Doncic trade shook up the sports world, those eager to see the Eagles face the Chiefs were merely grazed by it.

It is at the core of American culture to prepare for Super Bowl Sunday throughout the entire week. Today, with football's widespread popularity worldwide, it is an event eagerly anticipated by fans from all parts of the world. It is not unusual to make bets on the SB despite it being only one game. For those who love to follow players and stats, there are plenty of prop bets to make on Stake.com.

In this article, we will suggest some of the best prop bets that could land you plenty of cash in addition to having your favorite team win the game. While we can't influence the final outcome, with some of the suggestions in this piece, you will cash in on your bet, so the eventual winner or loser of the Super Bowl will matter little to you if you're neutral. It will serve as a consolation prize if your favorite team loses. Check out what we have in store for the biggest game of the year - Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs.

Bet on Kareem Hunt & Saquon Barkley to Have a Monster Night

Regarding the running game, the Philadelphia Eagles have the more potent offense, thanks to their superb O-line and the MVP candidate Saquon Barkley. Last season's gift from the NY Giants had a career year and one of the best seasons by a running back ever. While Saquon & Eagles are a force to be reckoned with on the ground, we shouldn't neglect the Chiefs either. Kareem Hunt is an experienced running back, and after a tumultuous career with the Chiefs and the NFL in general, he is looking to make a stand in New Orleans, too.

With everything above said, we have the first of our  NFL Picks suggestions on our hands - bet on Barkley & Hunt to combine for 200 & more yards while adding two rushing touchdowns. Sounds good. There are more ways to cash in during the Eagles vs. Chiefs Super Bowl than trying to hit on the outright winner. Both Kareem and Saquon had good years this season. They're men on a mission, and their final task is ahead of us. Hunt is the addition to this prop bet, and we will be looking for Barkley to lead the way in the SB as far as running goes. Saquon is a machine. This was one of the best RB years ever, and we were blessed to witness his master strokes week in and week out.

The best part about our suggestion is that if everything goes as planned for the Eagles, Barkley could accomplish 200+ yards and 2 running TDs alone. With Hunt as his sidekick, it could be one of the most straightforward bets you'll ever make. In the championship round, these two RBs have had a combined score of 182 yards and 4 TDs. The game went in the desired direction in the divisional duels, and they had 249 yards and 3 touchdowns. As you can see, it's not like they can do it; they already did it. When the lights are the brightest and on the biggest stage, we expect more of the same from Barkley & Hunt. The odds for this bet are set at +550, so it's a good bet to make if you want to see both teams dominating on the ground.

Saquon to Dominate Through 4 Quarters

Do not think that we're fans of the Philadelphia Eagles. Yet, we are fans of Barkley. Every bettor out there needs to be. Throughout the year, the former Giant was one of the safest bets regarding yards and touchdowns. That's why we're going to suggest this +750 bet. Listen carefully - Bet on Saquon Barkley to score at least 25 yards in every quarter in the Super Bowl. You already know why this bet makes sense, no matter how you look.

Saquon Barkley had a career year last season, one of the arguably best RB seasons of all time. He was only a few yards shy of Eric Dickerson's all-time record. When it came to the playoffs, Barkley elevated his game even further. The former fourth pick at the NFL draft was the best performer on the Eagles in every match in January. When it matters, Barkley steps up. That's why we believe that he's going to dominate in the Super Bowl, too.

Suppose the Eagles want to pull an underdog win in the SB and retake the Lombardi trophy at home. In that case, they must rely on their ground game, control the clock, and keep the ball out of Patrick Mahomes' hands. Saquon Barkley is the key to doing this. We believe that Saquon will be the leading man on the field from the kickoff until the last second on the clock, so having him score 25 yards in every quarter is not a bet that's out of this world.

A Surprise NFL Super Bowl MVP Winner

The NFL is the quarterback game. Even with Saquon Barkley's record year, many people believe he won't be the MVP this year. After all, it is a quarterback reward, and Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson & Co are always the heavy favorites to win. Regarding the Super Bowl, it is not rare for a player out of the QB position to win the Super Bowl MVP award. Many players on the field would love to take this prize home, and we're sure there will be plenty of performers on the night.

Going with the usual suspects in Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, or Jalen Hurts would be too easy, and that's not the road we'll take. Instead, we're going to aim for long shots but realistic ones. Considering we're having Mahomes slinging the ball, it is not crazy to think that a wide receiver could win the Super Bowl MVP award. Xavier Worthy was the Chiefs' first-round pick last year, and he had a fine rookie season for rookie standards. Mahomes knows how to make his receivers shine, and with Worth, as MVP, paying 31-1, it is a realistic bet to make that pay well.

Late in the year, when it mattered the most, Xavier Worthy showed reliable hands, and it is evident that Mahomes trusted him. A shifty, fast, and strong-handed receiver is a blessing for a QB, and the Chiefs were wise to draft Worthy early on and show their love for Mahomes. While we're sure the Eagles will rely on their running game, the Chiefs are wired differently. It is not hard to imagine Mahomes & Worthy connecting on a few big plays, adding to both yards and TDs tally for Worthy, making a difference on the night.  Considering that you can now also bet on the first touchdown win, a promotional bet, Mahomes & Worthy may be the one connecting for it. With odds on this combo being quite acceptable and odds on Worthy winning the SB MVP quite high, it is a risky bet worth taking.

A Defensive MVP?

It is possible; why not? For a while now, the entire league has been shifting toward favoring the offense more and having fans in the seats by being entertained by high-scoring offenses. But a refined defensive game is still what wins games. Among the two teams, one could argue that the Philadelphia Eagles have a better defense, and if you claim this, you wouldn't be wrong.  Yes, Steve Spagnuolo's defense shouldn't be underestimated. Still, if an SB MVP rises from the trenches, we will bet on it being on the Eagles' defense.

The man we have in mind is Jalen Carter. Now, listen, this is a risky 75-1 bet. But hitting on this one means hitting the jackpot. Jalen Carter is a real berserker. He's the man who can disrupt the Chiefs' game, whether by stopping the run or by getting close to Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs are an all-around good team, but their O-line might prove to be not coherent enough to stop the Eagles on the edges or in the middle, for that matter.

A defensive tackle to win the SB MVP will need an otherworldly game. Don't get us wrong, with Chris Jones on the other side playing the same position, it is possible to have this prize go the Chiefs' way on the defense. For either to happen, a defensive player would have to have at least two or three sacks, a forced turnover, or a few fumbles, and he'll be good to go. Of course, a team win must also be paired with these stats. Many experts suggest that this match could be decided by the defensive prowess instead of by Mahomes' hand or Saquon's legs, so betting on a defensive tackle to win this award is not as crazy as you first thought, right?

Opening Drive Touchdowns

We'd all love to see it. No one likes when the last game of the season starts with a defensive stalemate. During the year, both the Chiefs and the Eagles have shown us what well-oiled offensive machines look like. They've been dominating games left and right, both on the ground and through the air. The same is expected from both teams in the final game of the season, too.

Considering that the opening drive is decided on the coin flip, it is best to bet on either team scoring a TD on the opening drive. After all, we're talking about teams that scored a combined number of 19 TDs during this postseason. Also, both teams are used to playing on the big stage, and this is another Sunday for the Chiefs. The Eagles are back to the SB, too, so we are not expecting either of the teams to have hiccups at the beginning of the game. Yes, we've praised both teams' defenses, but we can see them leaking a bit at the beginning before the adjustments are made.

With odds on scoring on an opening drive set at +106, it is a good bet to make. Cashing on a bet from the first drive in a Super Bowl game would make watching the rest of the match much more fun, so having this bet among your other parlays is a wise one.

Travis Kelce & Receiving Yards

The fun thing about the Kansas City Chiefs' continuous success is that it is as closely related to Patrick Mahomes as Travis Kelce. A reliable tight end with safe hands, even better blocking, and a superb route tree is a safety blanket for every QB. For Mahomes, Kelce has been so much more. A go-to option. A partner in crime, a best friend, and a shoulder to cry on. Without trying to be cinematic, the bond between the two is what feel-good stories are written about.

Defenses win championships, a ground game will make the difference, and Mahomes will win it all for the Chiefs again, is what you hear leading to this SB. Still, none of it will matter if Kelce has his way with the Eagle's defense. If he stays always open as he usually is, we can see him having a monster game. If you ask us, we're a dark horse SB MVP candidate, but we're not suggesting that bet. Instead, we tell you to bet on Kelce to be the first player in the SB to reach 25+ receiving yards.

At the end of the day, he is Mahomes' favorite target. The two have that Brady/Gronk connection, and some even argued they've surpassed that level. With Taylor Swift in attendance, we can see Kelce aiming for the highest honors. It wouldn't be the first time for him to steal the spotlight after not being talked about enough for football reasons.

With everything above said, you have more than enough betting suggestions to make your Super Bowl Sunday even more interesting than it already is going to be.
